andycivil's video: Flipping bunny slow motion 240fps Sony HC7

@Flipping bunny slow motion 240fps (Sony HC7)
I'm sorry for leaving up such a silly video: I just love the fact that I started this channel over ten years ago! This is a demonstration of the capability of a Sony hi-def camcorder, which contains the capability to capture at an astounding 240fps (at reduced quality). If you ever wondered how those flipping bunny toys actually flipped, here's your chance to see in detail. This video has no sound track. The camera stores three seconds of video at 240fps, and then spools it to the tape at 60fps over 12 seconds. This gives a slow-down factor of 4x. I have slowed the 60 (interlaced) using a proper deinterlacing filter, which halves the size, and adds another slow-down factor of 2x. Finally, I slowed the frame rate to 15fps, for another 2x. Total slow-down factor 16x. I was naive to attempt to film in slo-mo under a flourescent light; the flashing you see is the tube going brighter and dimmer with the household frequency (60Hz). Next time, I will use incandescent LOL!
