chaldon2view's video: Ness Botanic Gardens Part One

@Ness Botanic Gardens Part One
Suitable for children and family viewing Ness Gardens, situated on the Wirral not far from Chester, were created by Arthur Kilpin Bulley in 1898. After his death in 1942, his daughter Lois Agnes bequeathed them to the University of Liverpool. The gardens have 15,000 types of plants from all over the world that attract more than 600 species of wild birds, mammals, bees, butterflies and other insects. I visited here while visiting Chester for a few days. This is Part One with the walk down to the beautiful Herbaceous Lawn with mixed planting. There is a small orchard and some hens that unfortunately I didn’t get to see everything. There are large parts of the gardens that I didn’t get around to seeing so I hope you enjoy this selection.
