This year we kicked things off with a trip back to Wilderness Wood in Hadlow Down, England where we reserved and cut down our own Christmas tree. It's a really special experience to saw down your own tree, and an exhausting experience to haul it up a hill and bring it home, but rewarding! And in this case, cheaper. Plus Wilderness Wood is a great place, working to preserve some incredible woodlands in Sussex. The food is also really good!
