@भारत में ऑक्सीजन की कमी कब तक दूर हो सकती है | Coronavirus Latest News | Oxygen Shortage India
How long can the lack of oxygen in India be overcome? At present, India is facing a tremendous beating of Corona. The tremendous increase in Corona cases has also led to a tremendous oxygen crisis in the country. People are dying mercifully due to lack of oxygen. The same situation has persisted in many states of the country for the past several weeks. Due to the continuous lack of oxygen in India, a question is coming in the mind of the people that how suddenly there has been such a shortage of oxygen in the country and how long the lack of oxygen in the country can be overcome. So, in this video, we tell you the answer to these questions ... First of all, let us talk about why suddenly there is such a shortage of oxygen in India. To understand the sudden decrease in oxygen supply in India, you must first understand the mathematics of oxygen demand and supply in India. This time, Corona has taken a more formidable appearance in India than in 2020. The number of corona positive patients is much higher than in 2020. Also this time most corona patients are in need of oxygen. Due to this, the demand for oxygen has doubled directly this time compared to 2020. If you understand in the figures, currently India needs five thousand metric tons of oxygen daily. While the supply is getting only 1500 MT. In terms of production, 7100 metric tonnes of oxygen is currently being produced in India. Despite this, the supply is getting only around 1500 to 1700 MT. There are two major reasons for the decrease in supply compared to oxygen production. The first reason is that about 85% of the oxygen produced in India is being used in the industry. Only 15% oxygen is available for hospitals and medical use. Another reason for the decrease in oxygen supply is that there is a shortage of tankers to carry oxygen from the plant to the hospital. Cryogenic tankers are needed to carry medical oxygen and there are currently only 1224 tankers in India. Due to this, there is a long delay in transporting oxygen to the Oxygen Hospital. The failure of the government is also a major reason for the tremendous lack of oxygen in India. Actually, the government could not understand the situation and the government did not make any preparations accordingly. Apart from this, the government had no policy regarding oxygen. In 2020 itself, experts had suggested to the central government that there is a shortage of oxygen in India and new plants should be set up. After this, 162 new oxygen plants were approved to be set up by the Central Government. But even after 1 year, the central government has installed only 33 new oxygen plants across the country. At this time the entire country is suffering the brunt of setting up such a small number of oxygen plants. Let us talk about how long the lack of oxygen in India can be overcome. To understand how long the lack of oxygen in India can be overcome, you have to pay attention to the figures. As we have just told in the video that last year, the Central Government had approved to set up 162 new oxygen plants. But the central government has so far set up only 33 plants in the entire country. But now a good thing is that currently work is going on 59 more new plants and according to the information given by the central government, by the end of May, 80 more new plants will be set up in the whole country. Apart from this, the Indian Air Force is continuously bringing oxygen to India from many other countries. Apart from this, 23 oxygen plants are also being brought to India from Germany by the Air Force. 8 Oxygen plants are also being sourced from France through Air Force. As soon as all these plants are installed in India, the lack of oxygen will be overcome to a large extent. The lack of oxygen is hitting Delhi the most. The biggest reason for this is that Delhi does not have its own oxygen plant. Delhi has to depend on states like Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Orissa for oxygen supply. It takes at least 30 to 40 hours for oxygen to reach Delhi from these states. Due to this, there is a persistent oxygen crisis in Delhi. Since there is currently a severe shortage of oxygen in Delhi and the oxygen plant is also not near Delhi. In such a situation, the Delhi government has taken many big decisions to overcome the lack of oxygen. The Delhi government has decided to buy 21 oxygen plants from France just a few days ago. Soon, these 21 oxygen plants from France are reaching Delhi. Apart from 21 oxygen plants coming from France, Delhi government is going to set up a total of 44 oxygen plants in Delhi. Out of this, 8 oxygen plants will be set up by the central government. Work on all these projects is going on fast and it is expected that by May 15, all these plants will start working and production of oxygen will start in them. In such a situation, it is expected that from 15th to 20th of May, the lack of oxygen in Delhi will be overcome to a great extent.
