Lozano/Ariondo became immediately connected through their musical expressiveness as portrayed in this impromptu session. . . .About the music: Torna a Surriento & Mattinata -- Torna a Surriento is one of the many lovely Neopolitan favorites composed by Ernesto de Curtis (1875-1937), a native of Naples, Italy....Mattinata, by Ruggero Leoncavallo (1857-1919) was a prolific composer of opera, operattas and Neopolitan songs. His most successful opera was Pagliacci.
