A beautiful tune called "NPR." Jangle pop from Carrboro, North Carolina. Other Bright Colors released a 1985 single "Stands To Reason" b/w "Circle Square". Then came the wonderful LP Endlessly Rocks The Cradle. Many of the tracks were reminiscent of R.E.M.'s Murmur, or Reckoning, but far deeper and more meaningful than the fare hundreds of R.E.M. soundalike bands were cranking out in the clubs back then. The LP was released in 1987. Here is NPR, track 2 on the album.
