PATRICIA FIELD, the world renowned fashion designer and award-winning costumer- of "SEX IN THE CITY' brings us"SEX IN THE COUNTRY". On Oct. 7, 2017 a colorful Lavish runway show slams the once sleepy home town of RIP VAN WINKLE 's in Upstate New York. PATRICIA FIELD brings her newest ArtFashion Runway Show and Pop-Up Shop to CATSKILL New York, as a benefit for Greene County Council on the Arts (GCCA). It was held at he new innovative Joe's Garage space on Main Street (underwriters of the event). Ms. Field said this one was one her favorite locations! Ms. Field’s ArtFashion show has been making waves in the art community from Miami’s Art Basel to Berlin to Bergdorf Goodman in New York City to, most recently, Mykonos, Greece. The iconic, magenta-haired Ms.Field is bringing her talented designers and models to help benefit for GCCA and has been coordinated by long-time GCCA supporter, Catskill resident, and friend of Ms. Field’s, Michele Saunders. The Patricia Field ArtFashion show was in Catskill as a three day event-with the final Sunday as a Q&A. There were two runway shows: Friday, October 6, at 7 pm followed by DJ music and cocktails, and a food truck by Wildfire. On Saturday, October 7 the event was followed by a dance party DJ’d by Tedd Paterson. Q &A on Sunday Oct.8th.(Video to come) Details and Credits: Ms. Field’s vision for her ARTFashion shows is to have the hand-painted clothing surrounded by colorful artwork; hence, Joe’s Garage will feature over thirty pieces of artwork as the background for the runway shows. Ms. Field’s stable of artists [Scooter LaForge, Ben Copperwheat, Jody MORLOCK, ThesePinkLips aka Iris Bonner, StudMuffin NYC aka Kyle Brincefield, Suzan Pitt, Suzanne Mallouk, Hushi Mortezaie, Jojo Americo, Zachary Sierra Lainie, and SSIK Designs] will be joined by several Hudson Valley artists, including Portia Munson, Justin Love, Nina Isabelle, Lucy Blaire, and Ginnie Gardiner, as well as a number of New York City artists, including Lola Jiblazee, Renée Snelson aka XORS, Keli Lucas, Mackenzie Spindler, Anthony E. Boone aka Boone Art Life, Karni Dorell, and Clockwork Cros, a Surrealist artist whose works are collected by several prominent collectors and celebrities. Sets are being designed by Geoff Howell Studio, award-winning design firm Franklyn is designing the program, and legendary DJ, producer and re-mixer Tedd Patterson will provide music and sound.
