In this episode you will see the Banaras Hindu University & Assi Ghat. Following are the details of the journey done by us which are part of this day. This video was shot on 5th August 2022, Bharat Mata Temple - We started our day visiting this temple, It does not have any statue of god or goddesses in the temple. We saw a beautifully carved map of undivided India in marble in a hall. Very few tourists know about this place in varanasi. Rahil Restaurant - We had breakfast of Sattu Paratha & Aloo Paratha in this restaurant. Located in Sigra. Banaras Hindu University - One of the biggest university of India, which was established in 1916 by Shri Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya. There is also a temple in BHU campus known as New Kashi Vishwanath temple or Birla mandir, around this there are many food eateries. Om cafe is one of the eatery where we had Cold Coffee, which is quite famous amongst the tourist & student. BHU Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple - This temple was built by birla group, one of the biggest attraction in varanasi, many devotees visit this temple. Bhartiya Kala Bhawan - This another attraction in BHU where tourist go, in this bhawan you would see over 1 lakh artifacts, miniature paintings which belong to 3rd century to 20 th century. Assi Ghat - Then after BHU we head to assi ghat to see the evening aarti. Boating was banned to due high rise of Holy ganga river. People start gathering by 5:30 pm, aarti starts at 7pm. Pizzeria Vatika cafe - Located at Assi ghat, quite famous for its Apple pie & pizza, we had the Apple Pie. Kashi Mumukshu Bhawan - It is a reasonable option for stay in varanasi, price starts from Rs 400 for Non-Cooler, Rs 700 for Cooler, Rs 1000 for AC rooms for double occupancy. Rs 1600 for 4 people (AC rooms) There is also another set of people who are not tourist, they are snaysi. They call them dandi swami. Then there are rooms for people whose age is above 60 to 65, they stay here till the last time of their life by paying some amount to trust.
