Vijayawada Hotel in Rajahmundry - we had 3 items here for breakfast - Rs 45 - Aaviri Kudumu, Idly, Onion Bhaji. Then proceeded for Atreyapuram - which is 25 km from Rajahmundry. Enroute to Atreyapuram, we passed by this barrage. Cotton Barrage: It was constructed by British engineer Sir Arthur Cotton in 1852. The plan was to divert the flood water of the Godavari to irrigation canals for crops in the delta. Atreyapuram - This village is known for Poothraekulu, there are about 1000 to 1500 ladies who makes & about 4000 sells Pootharekulu. When I visited Hyderabad 4 years ago, since then I was very curious to see the making of the Pootharekulu. After seeing & tasting it, Single sheet pootharekulu - Rs 15 & Double sheet - Rs 25 If you want to order, they also have a website. https://atreyapurampootharekulu.com/ Vindu Restaurant - We proceeded to have the pot biryani in Ravulapalem, They are specialize in pot biryani, if you want to have Chicken pot biryani - Rs 900 & Mutton Pot biryani - Rs 1100, you need to tell them 45 min in advance or another option is to have Dum biryani which is served in Pot - Rs 270 for chicken biryani. Haritha Coconut country resort in Dindi - They have different rooms, we book the double occupancy at Rs 3840. Boating charges - Rs 80 per person. This resort is run by Andhra Pradesh government.
