We started our day from Tawang to explore the hidden gem, Chumi Gyatse Falls- 108 waterfalls or Holy water falls which is close to the china border, It is not known to many, even the locals have visited this place. There are 2 routes to chumi Gyatse from Tawang, one is a longer route via Rho Jangda which is around 95 km & shorter route is around 70 km via bumla pass, road condition of this route is not that good. This was our 8th day of our Tawang Tour, this video was shot on 16th April 2022 Tsechu Village - We took the shorter route, there was a diversion before Bumla pass, just one day before snowfall had happened, we saw the snow everywhere. This village is located near Damteng. There is a hot water spring in this village across the Tshechu Rhong river. Chumi Gyatse falls - Then we proceeded towards the falls, 8 km can be reached by car then from there, one needs to trek to reach the falls, Uniqueness of this falls is that, water is flowing from the mountains, There are about 108 streams flowing through the mountains, it is considered to be Holy water falls, as several Buddhists come from far off places. Tibet - China border is at a distance of almost half a km from this waterfall. Then after fall we did the night stay in Tshechu village. Initially i had planned to reach back Tawang but due to Ligament tear i decided to stay there overnight. This ligament tear later on in the month May turned out to be Meniscus teaser that i got operated on 2nd June 2022. Next day 17th April 2022 we proceeded towards Tawang. Jang Falls or Nuranang falls - This waterfall is 30 km away from Tawang enroute to Dirang, the height of this falls is around 100 meters. Sela Pass - Enroute to Dirang we passed via sela pass, evening view of Sela pass and Sela lake after the snow fall was breath taking. Hotel Samjhana - 13 km before dirang, there is small dhaba where we had our dinner then proceeded towards Dirang. Hotel Snow lion in Dirang, the cost of room was around Rs 1600 for double occupancy, we stayed here overnight Episode 0 - YOu will see our journey from Dirang to Thembang to Shergaon.
