Relevant Spidey tech that should be shared. Spidey already has a nasty overhead game when up close that's even better when he's covered. j.lp has very little hit stun but it has enough to combo into df. lk after a zip for a quick hi/lo situation. This is even better as Spidey's df. lk hits low and opens up people trying to up back. I showed this string solo so people could see but obviously if done without protection Spidey can be pushblocked and the opponent can escape before even getting to the df. lk so mix things up. Random incoming reality storm mixup I created on the fly. I gotta say it's dirty myself, but it could have been escaped if he would have just held back on incoming. This would have kept him in the corner away from the immediate threat and gave him the opportunity to pushblock Ultron's f.lp. This air confirm shown is not new but more of a variant of one I've shown in matches already. Normally after the air confirm I would go into web throw but if the opponent is already in the corner then I would not want to lose that. Lastly, both of Spider-Man's throws (grounded and air throw) have ground bounces after the throw. Because ground bounces in this game are affected by the height associated with the move that activates it, Spidey can not pick up solo because they do not bounce high enough and there is recovery on Spidey's throw. (Side Note: this also applies to Ultron's throws) At super jump height Spidey's throw bounces just high enough to allow you to tag and continue accordingly. When near the corner forward throw can be used, but outside the corner it throws the opponent too far so use back throw instead. (Another side note: back air throw recovers faster than forward air throw.) When using back air throw air dash immediately after throwing the opponent (before the screen readjust to normal) then tag. This will give you the extra distance required to get your tagged partner to your opponent due to tag tracking. This won't occur, consistently I should say, if you dash and tag at the same time. UPDATE: I should mention this works on normal jump as well
