Get ahead of your work before the vacation, so you don't return to an overspilling to-do list. Alternatively you can ask the client to push the deadlines to a date post your break, although I prefer doing the former instead.
⏰ Prepare your content in advance
Preparing content during a vacation is hard. Unless you are planning to take a break from social media during your travels, prepare and schedule your social media content in advance.
🧳 Pack pack pack
Don't wait for all your work to get over before you start packing. Use the breaks you take every few hours or so to pack and make your journey less stressful.
✈️ Set up your email vacation responder
Set this up so that anyone reaching out to you for work/ inquiries/ updates etc gets notified about your break too. This is a good way to reduce the number of follow-ups you get too.
