@♫ Tomaso Albinoni ~ Adagio In G Minor ♫ Tristezza ... Sadness ... Tristesse
► We are never born all equal to life ! There are human beings sensitive, good, generous, and sincere. But there are also human beings who take advantage of the vulnerability, the naivety of others, sometimes they are unaware, that one day, by their acts, break trust, hope, and love that lives within each of us. → It is in 1958 editions Ricordi in Milan published the partition under the heading "Adagio in sol minore per archi e organo di R. Giazotto su due spunti tematici e su a basso numerato di T. Albinoni. In the preface, it was indicated that to compose this adagio R. Giazotto relied on a fragment containing the figured bass and initiation of a few measures of a violin line, all these elements belonging to the slow movement of an orchestral work by T. Albinoni. This fragment was found by R. Giazotto in the ruins of the Dresden library in 1945 while he was researching T. Albinoni to develop the first complete catalogue of his works. According to R. Giazotto, which was one of the largest specialists of T. Albinoni, this could be a fragment of a church Sonata (sonata da chiesa) - one of the two standard forms of the trio sonatas - owned op. 4 Albinoni dating from 1708. However, the genesis of this famous adagio remains mysterious. The exact contribution of T. Albinoni in this composition remains a matter for discussion for which several hypotheses compete without providing evidence or conclusions. R. Giazotto being who died in 1998, it is possible that the exact truth is ever discovered on the elements of composition due to Tomaso Albinoni originally from this universally known pastiche. The beginning of the theme of the Adagio has similarities with that of the Adagio sostenuto the first Trio for piano, violin and cello, op. 33, Louise Farrenc, dated 1841. Giazotto died in 1998, the Albinoni Adagio will only enter in the public than in 2068 for the countries of the European Union and those outside the union in 2048.
