When I was a younger fellow, I used to think that Pink Floyd should do a pleasingly slow and turgid cover version of Elton John's 1972 hit "Rocket Man". Sadly, despite me thinking this, it never seemed to happen. And while I enjoyed watching Kate Bush fingering her ukelele on Top of The Pops during her version, it just wasn't the same. So here's what Pink Floyd's version WOULD have sounded like, if they were just one person with an acoustic guitar. If, in fact, they were just me.
