Here you have the fuel consumption (fuel economy) of Opel (Vauxhall) Insignia 2020/2021 Grand Sport with 2.0 l R4 Direct Injection Turbo petrol engine (147 kW, 200 HP, 350 Nm, FWD, 9-speed automatic gearbox in a city, highway and autobahn, motorway, freeway, highway. Results: eco city: 8.5 l/100 km (27.7 / 33.2 mpg US/UK) 90 km/h (56 mph): 5.7 l/100 km (41.3 / 49.6 mpg US/UK) 120 km/h (75 mph): 7.3 l/100 km (32.2 / 38.7 mpg US/UK) 140 km/h (87 mph): 9.1 l/100 km (25.9 / 31.0 mpg US/UK) v. fast driving: ~18 l/100 km (~13 / ~16 mpg US/UK) As always, I checked real fuel consumption on a petrol station. I noticed NO difference: computer shows exactly the same fuel consumption comparing to what I refueled. Procedure: I drive 33 km in both ways on a highway/motorway (16.5 in each direction). Energy consumption/economy in a city is measured in real-life traffic in Warsaw (Poland) in similar conditions: the same amount of heavy traffic, light traffic and quite similar average speed.
