She shines as a star of bridal mysticism and she expresses her divine frenzy for Krishna in an outpouring of verses. In this excerpt Andal describes wonderful essence of lord Krishna and his mesmerizing beauty .The song embeds the same emotions as felt when sung by Andal, devout lover of lord Krishna . Where does devotion end and love start ? Where does love end and devotion start ? Or does this point even exist ? Andal was barely 17 years when she wrote Nachiyar Thirumozhi, after which she merged with Krishna .Her poetry contains essence of Bhakti through the talks of surrendering to the divine love, request for re-union, intimacy with Krishna’s essence and constant oscillation between union and seperation.
