I should be revising, not vidding, yet here I am. I just wanted to do this vid because I have only recently become a Stelena shipper, having previously been hardcore on the delena trail. I've realised that my preference for who Elena ends up with is all to do with which Salvatore brother I prefer, but no matter what I hope their brotherhood can stay strong. I feel so bad for Stefan at the moment, because he really has had his heart broken. After everything that happened in the s3, after fighting to get himself back on track for the girl he loves, to have her choose him and then change her mind s quickly has got to hurt. I personally think he does need to move on from Elena, but I can't blame him for putting his hopes on breaking the sire bond and making her human again as a means of getting her back. As for the sire bond, I hate that, I think Delena deserve an untainted chance. We all know she has real feelings for him and to be honest I don't want her with Stefan until those feelings are resolved. Hopefully the writers can turn this story around asap, but I am looking forward to the Stelena conversation now that Stefan knows she and Damon were involved. This short video is just aimed at showing the transition from Stefan being chosen, to him then losing the girl he loved and thought had given herself to him completely in return, which is why I chose the quote from Neil Gaiman as it sums up the bitterness.
