Although this video features preachings by kent hovind and david wilkerson (dec.), both of these men also disseminate(d) false teachings about salvation. yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written (Rom. 3:4) Salvation from the everlasting, terrifying wrath of God is a free gift from God received purely and only by believing, and continuing to believe in the name of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who shed his blood and died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. To be saved from hell, you do not need to "turn from your sin" nor "surrender to [Christ's] lordship" (i.e. turn from your failure to keep the law) which error hovind teaches and wilkerson taught. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. (2 Tim. 4:2-5) For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, the Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. (Tit. 1:7-14) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16-18) Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:5) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12) And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. (1 John 3:23) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:13) Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. (Gal. 3:24-26) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (Gal. 5:13-14) As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. (Gal. 1:9) I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be. (Gal. 5:10) But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby. (Ezek. 33:19) All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. (Ezek. 18:22) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23) The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
