This aired on the History Channel on March 16, 1998, the 30th anniversary of the massacre, and its participants were Colonel David Hackworth (Ret.), the author of “About Face”; Prof. Randy Roberts, the co-author of “My Lai”; and the host, Steve Gillon, a historian. This discussion followed the airing of an episode of “Vietnam: The Ten Thousand Day War.”
