2MAsports's video: Cleveland Browns Confidential Wit:h Dan Labbe

@Cleveland Browns Confidential Wit:h Dan Labbe
The Cleveland Browns were historically bad a season ago meaning they were given the most firepower in the past draft. The cherry on top of this college crop was Texas A&M's Myles Garett which Cleveland hopes will transform both their defense and their fortunes. The results of this draft will go a long way towards proving whether the “Moneyball” approach will pay dividends on the field and in the standings. Can the revamped coaching staff led by Hue Jackson, make the most and get the most out of this young and improved roster? One of the biggest unanswered questions for Cleveland is the status of their quarterback position. Who will emerge from a crowded field of throwers? Incumbent starter Cody Kessler, is the leader in the clubhouse as far as seniority and will indeed receive the first crack at maintaining and holding the top spot. However, Kessler has plenty of new faces in the quarterback room who are vying for his job. The Browns drafted Norte Dame standout Deshawn Kizer in April and acquired the contract of Houston flameout Brock Osweiler who will also have a shot to stake claim to leading the Browns under center. Meanwhile the versatile jackrabbit Jabrill Peppers will instantly help make plays in new defensive coordinator’s Gregg Williams defensive scheme as well as make an instant impact on special teams. For veterans such as Joe Thomas can they finally take solace in the fact the Browns seem to be making positive strides towards winning? Can the Browns finally join a highly successful sports contingent which the Cavaliers and Indians help establish in North East Ohio? Can will realistically expect for the Cleveland Browns to make tangible progress towards consistent winning in 2017? Dan Labbe Browns reporter at cleveland.com is in the trenches covering the Browns on a daily basis. He joined 2Man Advantage Podcasts Kevin McShan on Tuesday, to provide a status update on the state of the Browns and whether the front office, has the team headed in the right direction.
