I was lucky enough to be able to attend the biggest Miku event ever, my 6th Magical Mirai and already 8th Miku event I have been to. I also show some bonus events in this video. I give you my event report as always, showing the Expo in detail for yet another wonderful Hatsune Miku event. The big 10th anniversary may be over for both Miku and the Kagamine twins, but that doesn't mean dedicated Miku fans like me won't travel to the next Magical Mirai and to celebrate the virtual idols 12th anniversary while they are at it as well as Luka's 10th anniversary! This year, the event took place in both Osaka and Tokyo again. I attended both! Near the end of the video, I included a highlight reel from the concert (the night time concert of the second day in Tokyo has already been made available) and of course my thoughts on the event. Other bits include a promotional event of a sightseeing tower in Osaka, a Hatsune Miku cafe in Akiba, a DJ event celebrating Vocaloid in Akiba's Club Mogra as well as an afterparty for Magical Mirai! It was yet again a fantasic experience. The community is alive and well in contrast to what some Western fans online may think. Miku and these events are doing incredibly well. The attendance numbers keep going up every year. It gets more difficult every time getting tickets. Miku Expo Europe has already been greenlit to return in January 2020. And most importantly, even with the Olympics being helt in Tokyo next year, Magical Mirai 2020 has been confirmed already to return to Osaka in August, and to Tokyo in December 2020 (usual venues for Tokyo booked out during August because of the Paralympics).
