The six one-hour episodes -- produced by lauded music producer and Radiohead's "sixth member" Nigel Godrich -- will include appearances by some of the most respected artists in music today. The series kicks off on 3net with premiere episode performances by The Shins, Aimee Mann and Father John Misty. 'Til Tuesday co-founder and enduring solo artist Aimee Mann contributes three songs: "Slip and Roll" from her highly-anticipated new album Charmer, the Grammy and Academy Award-nominated ballad "Save Me," and "Living a Lie," also from her forthcoming album and featuring The Shins front man James Mercer. 3net will premiere a new episode of the six-part series each month for the remainder of 2012. Future artist appearances, track lists and detailed episodic information from the Los Angeles and London-based series will be announced soon. FROM THE BASEMENT will also premiere in 2D in August on Sony Picture Entertainment's multi-platform video network Crackle, as well as on a linear basis in the UK on Sky 3D and Sky Arts HD.
