FULL DISCLAIMER. I am not a Historian, I am not here to teach you about Submarines or any Technology used on such Military Vessels. I am a simple peasant observer doing some Observational Reasoning. I minced words a lot and most certainly got some things wrong due to just being in a hurry but didn't have the time to do retakes and dodge visitors.
