618 Society of Prayer Warriors's video: Why am I suffering so much God

@Why am I suffering so much God
Why am I suffering so much God? Do you ever get frustrated in your walk with God where you feel like you must be doing something wrong, because when you look around it seems like God is blessing everyone else while your life is falling apart or at least teetering on the edge of disaster. If so I want to tell you that you are not alone. People contact me every week who feel like that. Sometimes they are angry at God and others say that their faith is slowly growing cold and numb. I've had other people contact me and say "what am I doing wrong in my Christian walk because my life is falling apart?" And I've even had people say, "well I don't even know why I believe because my life is such a wreck." My first response is 1 Peter 4:12-14, "Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed." Jesus said that in this world we would have tribulation (John 16:33). You can count on it. If you are a believer and a follower of Jesus Christ you can expect to have much trouble. Don't ever compare yourselves to other people who claim to be Christians. First of all, you don't know what is really going on in their lives and secondly, it doesn't matter because you follow Jesus and you believe the word of God which says that true believers will have many trials and tribulations. In Romans chapter 12 starting in verse 12, the word of God says"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." Here again is expected that we will have tribulation. And by the way, the word used is not referring to the great tribulation or even Christian persecution, but simply any sort of trouble or suffering that a believer goes through. Let's read it again. "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." We can rejoice because our eyes are not on our current situation but in the hope we have in Christ and that is why we can be patient in tribulation as we continue in prayer. And as we read in 1 Peter chapter 4, when our suffering is because we are Christians then we can actually rejoice and be very glad because we are sharing in the suffering of Jesus Christ. I know it can be easy to lose our sense of perspective, we must remember that the troubles we have in this life are not even worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us in Christ. (Romans 8:18) True joy and contentment in this life can only found in losing our life for Christ sake (Matthew 16:25), taking up our cross and following Jesus as we seek only God's will in our lives. I find it only fitting to in this message the words of Romans chapter 12:1-2 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, is multiple pages are by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. They Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
