Carrot paratha is prepared with loads of carrot and wheat flour along with other spices. Kids who hates veggies will definitely eat this carrot paratha without any hesitation. Best lunch box recipe for a school going kids. Ingredients: Yields around 10 to 15 parathas 3 to 4 cups - Wheat flour 2 cups - Carrot grated 1 no - Onion chopped 1 tbsp - Ginger chopped 1 no - Green chillies chopped 1 tsp - Cumin powder 1 tbsp - Curry leaves chopped 1 tbsp - Coriander leaves chopped Salt to taste Water to knead Preparation method: Take a mixing bowl, add the grated carrot, chopped onion, ginger,green chilies, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Followed by wheat flour, cumin powder, and required salt, mix well thoroughly. Add water as needed to make a soft and pliable dough. Finally add a tsp of oil and knead well, set it aside. Make equal sized balls out of the dough and roll into slightly thick chappathi. Heat a tawa, place paratha and toast until golden brown on both sides. Serve with raita and pickle. Notes: If you wish you may chaat masala , red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder along with other the ingredients in the list.
