Harford County Library remains a lifeline for the communities they serve in 2021. They have a new partnership with Maryland Humanities where they are doing more than ever. Their response to Covid 19 continues keeping patrons and employees safe while still offering educational tools to help parents and teachers alike with virtual and in person learning. The library still offers Wi Fi for families that may not have it at home while still instilling the love of learning in the next generation. The partnership also promotes life long earning while starting open and rational conversations about race, gender and civic engagement. CEO of HCPL Mary Hastler joins me to talk in detail about library services and her new role as chairwoman of the board of Maryland Humanities
