Mae's mother never truly gave her all when it came to love and now Mae is struggling with the same thing. Mae even fears she's just like her mother when it comes to loving someone and accepting love. Michael and Mae meet and there's an instant connection but neither of them expect much to come out of this nor do they want it too until it gets deep and they're forced to accept just how much they care about each other.
