A Dempsey Story's video: SCUBA DIVING AN ABANDONED MINE PIT

Diving is our favorite hobby next to traveling so we couldn't wait to try out a new dive site. The Cuyana pit mines are a fresh water dive site that used to be mined for iron ore before the mines were closed down in 1967. Once the pumps were shut down, the mines started to fill with spring water and scuba diving the mines gained popularity. It was such a unique experience to do this cold water dive and to get back under the water after an 11 month break from diving.
