A Digital Blogger started the Big Bull Podcast series to tell the stories of unexposed traders with their own strategies, mindset, psychology and skills. One such trader is Dhruva Dutta, hailing from Bengal and he is with us in this stock market podcast, Dhruva Dutta was a CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) commandant by profession. That means he performed duties in areas infected with insurgency and terrorists. He started trading in the Lehman Crisis of 2008 when the market was at its all-time low. He invested in a ULIP policy but could make a profit out of it because of high charges and other taxes. He stopped trading at all for a few years and then opened a Demat account again in 2015 and again gave an attempt to trade. This time he invested in stocks as per recommended by brokers but here also suffered some losses. Then he gave a shot to an advisory firm and tried to trade with its tips and suffered a loss of about ₹1.50 Lacs. In 2019 he was transferred to Chattisgarh where was combating Maoists. In 2020 he was travelling to his duty area on a bike and suffered an accident which tore apart his shoulder. He had to be sent to Hyderabad for surgery and there he started trading again.
