Happy 25th Birthday to dearest Red beast. The WAP-4, the Most Successful P Class Electric Loco of Indian Railways. On this day back in 1996, the first WAP-4, 22201, was manufactured paving way for 778 more successful units to come ranging from 22201 to 22999 and 25000 to 25051 before their production was ceased on 2nd Dec 2015 making The WAP-4, the last of Conventional locos. Seen in the video, Erode's 22549 WAP-4 with 11019 Mumbai CSMT-BBS Konark Express, climbing a small gradient and skipping MLY. Shot on my Sony Xperia XZ1.
