A Scotsman Outdoors's video: Scottish Airshow 2018 - Ayr - RAF Red Arrows

The Scottish Airshow 2018 took place again on Ayr's promenade with the RAF Red Arrows closing the day with an awesome display! The event is becoming more and more of a regular display with the number of spectators increasing each year with 2018's display seeing over 60,000 people attend. One of the biggest draws to the two day event is the fact that it is FREE! You can literally make your way to the promenade and watch every part of the show for nothing. Even the stalls and displays are free to walk around unlike some places that call it a 'display village' and charge you to enter. As well as the aircraft and flying displays there are plenty of food stalls, crafts, shows (thats a fun fair to the non-Scottish) and simulators. It is a superb two day event with the Sunday mirroring the Saturday so you won't miss anything no matter what day you choose to go and kids of any age will have a brilliant time.
