Lemont Railfanning Record on 1/8/2021 from 6:30am-3:06pm Hey railfans! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday with your families. We present to you the first railfanning video of 2021! This year, we wanted to start someplace different. We chose Lemont, Illinois in hopes of getting some more trains in the snow. While the major portion of snow was melted or plowed away on the tracks, the show went on. And yes, the weather outside was quite cold due to the wind. Luckily, we’re staying warm inside the production car during the quiet times. For the first hour after setting up our cameras and our studio lights (till sunrise), it was quite surprising to catch four trains in under an hour. However, the rail action was quite slow and gradually became quiet after lunch and into the late afternoon. Nonetheless, it was quite a solid day as we wrapped things up in perfectly timed fashion.
