Visual X Merch collaboration with @xiwustudio In this collection, I want to share the story of by bicultural upbringing. I hope to create something that will resonate with individuals who may share the same experience. To achieve this, innovative tailoring techniques are used to produce transformative garments, incorporating both Eastern and Western design codes. My garments has a minimal aesthetic with a focus on details and fabrications. I’m merging modern technologies such as laser cutting and technical materials, with traditional fabrications to evoke a sense of old meeting the new. Textiles such as quilting are paired with reflective elements in my modern reinterpretation of the story of my heritage. My intent is to create something new through attempting to find balance in all these contrasting elements. - @non_defini
