कर्नाटक के दक्षिण कन्नडा जिले में बीते मंगलवार को जहां भाजपा युवा मोर्चा समिति के सदस्य प्रवीण नेत्तारू की हत्या कर दी गई थी, वहीं आज, गुरुवार को एक बार फिर से दक्षिण कन्नडा जिले की मैंगलोर सिटी (Mangalore) के सूरतकाल (Surathkal) में एक और भयावह और चौंकाने वाला मामला सामने आया है. कुछ नकाबपोश अपराधियों ने एक कपड़े की दुकान के बाहर बीच सड़क पर फैजल नाम के युवक पर धारदार हथियार से हमला किया. इस हमले में फैजल बुरी तरह ज़ख्मी हो गया. उसे तुरंत अस्पताल में भर्ती किया गया जहां इलाज के दौरान उसकी मौत हो गई. घटना के बाद पूरे इलाके में तनाव इस खबर से पूरे इलाके में तनाव व्याप्त है. पुलिस कमिश्नर ने घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर पूछताछ की और पूरे घटना का जायजा लिया. पूरा मामला मंगलौर के सूरतकल का है. इस हमले के दो सीसीटीवी फुटेज भी सामने आए हैं. इस फुटेज में देखा जा सकता है कि कई लोग तुकान के बाहर निकलते ही फैजल पर धारदार हथियार से हमला कर रहे हैं. सीसीटीवी में साफ देखा जा सकता है कि जब हमला हुआ तब फैजल एक दुकान के बाहर था. प्राथमिक जानकारी के मुताबिक किसी फाइनेंशियल इश्यू को लेकर ये हमला किया गया है. जानकारी के मुताबिक हमलावर हुंडई कार में आए थे और उसकी धारदार हथियार से पिटाई कर कार में बैठकर फरार हो गए.
