Skydio 2 Drone and a Skydio Beacon, can it keep up with a KTM 350 excf dual sport riding in the desert? I spent the day using the Skydio 2 drone to film my ride at El Mirage OHV area. This was my second day using the drone so I am not completely familiar with the drone or it's settings. But I must say it is very easy to use and quick to deploy. It did a great job of keeping me in frame but at times was a little too jerky in its movements especially when the trail had many turns one after another. My old Staaker drone did a much better job of smoothing out the footage and yet still be able to keep me in the frame but that drone is no longer available. I have also noticed that if the drone can't keep up with my speed it tucks in behind me and just follows from behind, especially in the Orbit mode. I would much rather that it try to position itself according to the mode I set rather than to give up and just follow from behind. I realize I need to use the Skydio 2 and the Beacon a lot more before I can give a true overall impression of how well it works.
