I am heading out on my KTM dual sport for an adv adventure ride. My goal - Trona Pinnacles. But as with any ride you have to be flexible. There are many things that can happen on an adv ride and I experienced most of them on this ride across the Mojave Desert. From following the wrong GPS track to leaving too late and riding in the heat of the middle of the day. So I failed to make my goal and decided it was safer to turn back. Even so, I had a great dirt bike ride over all different types of desert terrain. As many have said it's the journey and the experience that matters not the destination.
