AJclips's video: Josh Turner Video scrambler

Josh Turner held a concert at the Shenandoah County Fair in Woodstock, Virginia on September 1st, 2010. Before the concert, the local radio DJ said no camcorders. I was outside of the pay viewing area. I was on the outside looking in. I took my camcorder out to film Turner. Low and behold, it was out of focus. I had the focus on auto so I just let it set for a second to focus. It never focused. So I set it to manual to focus it myself. The camcorder still would not focus. No matter how high or low I set the focus, nothing changed on the screen. I turned it off thinking it was acting up. Which it has never done before. I then turned it back on. It was still out of focus. After 10 minutes of fiddling with it with no luck, I turned it off. We walked back to the car and I turned it back on because I was worried something maybe was wrong with it. When I turned it on, guess what? You guessed it. The camcorder worked perfectly fine. Upon uploading the video to my PC, I also realized his voice is not as deep as it was listening to him live. The audio is also off. Or to me it is. I am puzzled over this because I have never known concerts to have a scrambler. I never even gave it a thought until this happened. But it appears this is the case. Any info on this would be appreciated.
