My grandpa passed away this Tuesday at the age of 94. The last time I visited him was 2 days before and he was in bad shape, but even then he still could recognise me and was incredibly excited to see me. Though I wasn't as close with him in recent years, my childhood was filled with memories of him taking care of me and writing birthday cards to me every year. He used to be a great artist and you can see just how much effort he would go through to send me a colourful birthday card each year. Nevertheless, the day of his passing was the saddest I'd ever seen my grandma and for her sake I wanted to smile rather than cry. As we drove back from her house I remember distinctly hearing this song "Imagine" playing on the car radio. I decided to cover it in memory of him. Please take the time to listen and please enjoy!
