Update: since this video was prepared, we’ve experienced a stock market crash caused by an unfavorable jobs report and the collapse of the yen carry trade. The yen carry trade and the stock market dip are unlikely to push the Federal Reserve into action, but the jobs report coming in worse than expected makes a September rate cut much more likely as there is data to suggest the Fed should act sooner.
