AQUA FUNK's video: HOW TO KEEP ELECTRIC BLUE ACARA CICHLIDS IN THREE MINUTES OR LESS

@๐Ÿ”ต HOW TO KEEP ELECTRIC BLUE ACARA CICHLIDS IN THREE MINUTES OR LESS
here's one fact electric blue cars do not exist in nature that electric blue totally totally manipulated by humans the electric blue acara is considered a semi-aggressive cichlid but i would really really put it way down on the list of aggressive cichlids like low low low aggressive they can get up to five inches although i rarely see them at five inches a big male would probably be five inches but like i said i've never seen them that big i've normally seen them in the three to four inch range with the females um three inch so just you know just know that if you wanted to get these fish the size aquarium that you probably would need would be at least at least if you're getting a single specimen of 20 if you're getting two uh 29. the males and females of the electric blue car look identical the colorations are as brilliant for the male as it is for the female so it doesn't really matter which one you get they have that electric blue body with a black mask and a red to orange streamer um down the top of its dorsal fin the males will get longer trailers on their dorsal and anal fin at breeding time that blast mass gets way more intensely black so it looks kind of cool and they do make good parents being a cichlid you're going to want to feed them a high quality high protein floating pellet floating pellets not necessary i just think they're the cleanest for your tank you're going to want to keep the water at about 82 degrees and i have kept these in planted tanks but be mindful sometimes they like to dig so if you have them in plant tanks just know that if it's a delicate plant that doesn't have a strong root system it might get uprooted you're going to want to keep the water at least 80 to 82 degrees i would give you a ph range but to be honest most ph ranges coming out of tap is just fine for this fish they are related to the green terror which obviously you know does stand by its name but this one is nowhere near that bad so if you're gonna put him in a community tank with non-aggressive fish make sure that non-aggressive fish are at least big enough not to fit in his mouth so those non-aggressive fish are gonna have to grow at least an inch and a half and be that big when you put the fish in there you're gonna go semi-aggressive cichlids as tank mates you can do that too just make sure you're not putting any evil cichlids fire miles electric blue jack dances jack dempsey's will work great even angels will work great with this fish. ๐ŸŸก Scientific name: A. pulcher ๐ŸŸก Common names: Elictric Blue Jack Acara Cichlid ๐ŸŸก Distribution: Man made ๐ŸŸก Size: 5 inches give or take a inch ๐ŸŸก Life expectancy: 8โ€“10 years ๐ŸŸก Color: Elictric Blue ๐ŸŸก Diet: Omnivores ๐ŸŸก Temperament: Semi Aggressive ๐ŸŸก Minimum tank size: 20 gallons or better ๐ŸŸก Temperature: 75โ€“82ยฐF ๐ŸŸก pH: 7.0 but I've known them to live just fine in pH up to 8.0 ๐ŸŸก Care level: Easy ๐ŸŸก Breeding: Egg-layer IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME VISITING MY CHANNEL I INVITE YOU SUBSCRIBE ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ”ด TAG THE NOTIFICATION ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ›Ž BELL LIKE ๐Ÿ‘ SHARE.
