MY POWERFUL WORDS Let me speak before starting this recording I will help you change your way of thinking First, I'm going to tell you her own story And then, I'll share my feelings with everybody Not so long ago, when the sun was rising In a school closer than it seems, There was a young girl studying With her pockets full of dreams She wanted to study her passion But a jealous bully wanted to refashion Her way of being a respectful girl In a large insults swirl But, one day, she stood up with all her might Repeating herself each and every night «YOU are the bully who gets under my skin, YOU think I'm the victim, but I'm going to win » Don't forget to follow your dreams When you are a child, an adult or a teen. You shouldn't let small people reduce your great worth You must be aware and move forth. Start your day with happiness Help others with a smile, without shyness Break the ice of ignorance Then, you can try your chance . Rise up like the sun shining so far , Be proud of being the person YOU are ! Ignore the insults that may offend you, Think positive and hang out with people like you If you feel comfortable with what you do everyday Why should you change your way ? To fall into the deep abyss of ridicule And there, lose what makes you beautiful Don't be mean or rude, just think ! Be confident, generous and helpful, Just be yourself, you are wonderful ! No matter what fools may think... I'd like to try to change something in you : Remember, beauty is not in the eye of the beholder ! Bullies are worthless compared to you. Remember : your mistakes make you stronger ! Life has such a great worth Don't let others define yours ! You can turn the page or change the book, But do not let life flow like a brook. To conclude this poem and close the door, I would say: live, smile, dream, breathe, respect, take care and LOVE more and more These words are for you and the world , These are MY powerful words.
