ASA's video: Hettie Chambers wins Youth Achievement of the Year ASA Aquatics Awards 2016

Hettie Chambers received the ASA Achievement Award: Youth Participant at the ASA Aquatics Awards 2016. At 12 years old Hettie has taken part in a variety of sponsored swims this year for various charities. She completed a 200 length Swimathon this year for Marie Curie. She went on to support Benjamin Staniforth to complete the distance of the Channel over a few days in their local pool, and Hettie swam a total of seven miles for Wish upon a Star. In July, Hettie took on her biggest challenge to date, supporting Zak Frisby, swimming for five hours alongside him. Hettie swam a remarkable 320 lengths for Rainbows Children’s Hospice and throughout the swim reassured Zak all the way until the finish.
