AV TV's video: Fractured God Sphere Elite Post-Buff Zeus Fight DPS DPS-Tank Perspective US PS PC Unedited

Special thanks to iYette of Encounter for running with us for this and to all of the other members of Encounter and our friends from other leagues who ran with us in prior runs. This was our 2nd attempt using this strategy. Most of the scorecard deaths were due to choosing to wipe if we had any Effigy KOs and we took a long break to tweak armouries for the different strategy. Our prior runs generally attempted kiting the final phase in the center and zerging him down while breaking cages, but we encountered some issues on US PS/PC: invisible storms and/or the higher-load server not knowing where we actually were relative to the storms. Because of that, we ultimately opted for a stable approach with people DPSing in tank role with cage-breaker spec at the entrance and everyone who couldn't reach Zeus without arcing going pure support and helping with cages. The stability of this strategy was really nice, and it ultimately wasn't much slower due to our ability to reliably keep the NPCs uncaged while they funneled neatly over instead of getting scattered by Zeus. We lost our main tank due to a fun lil Desk Pop at 21:00 and finished the raid tanking with 2x DPSs in Tank role from 21:00-28:30, then 1x Slightly-tankier-but-still-forced-to-keep-breaking-cages battle tank + 1x DPS in tank role until the end to get some of the squishiness out. In retrospect, we could have had the Troll move to the DPS-team's Arc Lightning grouping once we lost our tank to speed things up. Setup as follows: Effigies: 1 Tank, 1 Troll, 1 Heal, 5 DPS (this is the easiest way to do this and also to get the Breaking Marble feat) Phase 1: 1x Tank - Fearful (Earth) 1x Troll - OhDangYouDied (Quantum) 2x Heal - AimForTheKnee (Electricity) + Von Bl17zZ (Celestial) 2x Long-Range Cage-break+AoE DPS - Titan (Fire might) + AVTV (Fire might) 2x Standard DPS - iYette (Nature prec) + Hisoka X (Nature might) Phase 2: 1x Pure Tank - Fearful (Earth) from 14:30-21:00 (eliminated due to Desk Pop) 1x Cage-Breaker DPS in Tank role - AVTV (Fire) (cage-spec battle tank after 21:00) 1x Cage-Breaker DPS in Tank role - Titan (Fire) 1x Pure Troll - OhDangYouDied (Quantum) 4x Healer - AimForTheKnee (Electricity) + VonBl17zZ (Celestial) + iYette (Nature) + Hisoka X (Nature) Our long-range cage-breaker DPS specs could hit Zeus from far away and reliably and quickly free the tank if caged. While not nearly the strongest DPS rotation, it proved the most useful and the range and reliability helped make up for it's lower raw output. This was a really fun raid to figure out, especially with having to workaround the US/PC server issues. We know it has to be toned down but it would be nice if this kind of thing could stay in the game as an "Extreme" or "Survival" version of the raid. Hoping that's something the devs can look into doing in the future as opposed to dedicated long-form SM events.
