The truth behind claims wireless headphones cause cancer The first few posters here seem to have no personal experience with this but I do. I had a brain tumor due to my cell phone usage. My neurosurgeons, who both head major highly respected, well-known institutions in the Western U.S. (won’t pinpoint so they won’t get sued either) told me OFF the record that my cell phone caused my tumor. I had an acoustic neuroma (technically a tumor at the end of the ear canal) but it was so large it was categorized as a brain tumor as well. Per my neurosurgeons, acoustic neuromas were once very rare and were usually only in elderly people. They both mentioned an incredible spike in cases since the early 90s when cell phones became affordable and now most people under 40 develop these tumors. YES, radiation emitted from your cell phone is transmitted via both wired and wireless headphones. Supposedly, less is transmitted via wired than the phone itself but even less by wireless. No matter, if your immune system is even slightly less than stellar your risk of developing this once rare tumor increases. Depression even lowers your immune system besides the yearly bout with the flu or a cold. That thick instructional book about your phone included radiation info buried in the back in 5 point font btw. This is legally considered full disclosure! Think logically. What protects your brain from radiation coming through your eardrum? There is no muscle or fat in that direct canal to your brain. I also used to fall asleep talking to my friends on my cell phone when I was in high school at the very least once a week. Always on my left side as I was left handed. And it was in my left ear that I had my acoustic neuroma. I am the scientific evidence. I know more people that had it or rather did have it. All the other patients I was in the hospital with plus friends and family of relatives that had my exact tumor only lived a few months to a year after surgery. I am literally the only one left out of 19. We were all between 23 and 35 at the time. Prevention is ALWAYS better than trying to cure what ails you. Buy an old school boom box, put the volume on low and sleep with that. Also wanted to let you know that recovering from brain surgery is awful. I was actually mentally disabled for a while, could not communicate my thoughts, could not walk as half my body was paralyzed head to toe including half of my face, couldn’t eat food for while, could not see out of one eye for a while, couldn’t bathe myself, had to be on major drugs for throbbing pain which was like someone taking a hammer to my head every second, could not lie down for months as I could have a brain fluid leak=instant death and more. Therapy was a bitch which included electric shock. On my face including my fricking eyeball as THOSE muscles were paralyzed too. All this over a cell phone.
