Abandoned UK's video: Urbex The Eccentrics Detached House of Untold Secrets

@Urbex ~ The Eccentrics Detached House of Untold Secrets
My First Urbex Video upload of 2016 ~ A Special "Feature Length" 88 minute Video Explore of a long time derelict detached rural house. Once the residence of Tony who died around 2008 aged in his 70's, (born sometime approximately around 1930). He was reported as living an unconventional and slightly strange existence, by all accounts he was described as an eccentric & a fairly reclusive individual., who lived without any electricity, although I did notice the small glowing red light that was by the mains box under the staircase, but the power was definitely switched off all around the house. He was also known for riding his old bicycle everywhere, & often at night without lights, he once was reported to have a snake in a large glass jar & scared a female motorist half to death by thrusting it inside her car window. Going by the Christmas cards I retrieved from the curtain pelmet, he was remembered by a handful of friends, but also maybe sadly died soon after this. At this time i can't reveal why the location was in the newspapers a few years ago, so as to help protect the property from any thieving magpies, or vandalism hopefully, but this occurred after Tony's death. The Skull on the table at the top of the stairs, I have since discovered, is that of a Badger, but the other bone has proved a little harder to identify as to which species it's from. His legendary snake in a jar was nowhere to be found sadly, or was it?, so maybe Boris the Spider got so huge by feasting on it's corpse;) This rural house was by far, one of my most enjoyable, a relaxed & interesting explore in all but one room, despite it's lack of daylight in almost all of the rooms & the strategically placed knives in the hall:) placed there by the homeless squatter or vagrant most probably. There was once possibly a canine companion or more, at some point in his or his estranged wife's lifetime, (dogs bowl noted) plus a budgerigar or two. Unfortunately I was unable to find any clues as to when Tony was married, or of any offspring, or when divorced, maybe the answers are lost in the darkness & I missed them among all the bits of paper in the ground floor rooms, although i spent far to long inside working my way through the rooms by torchlight. The very old second world wartime tin of powdered milk suggests to me there was a child or children. Produced from 1939 - 1945 Dried milk was provided by the government under the Welfare Foods Service. It was intended for families with babies or young children who could not afford or otherwise obtain fresh milk. The contents of this tin were sufficient to make seven pints of reconstituted milk. Yes the tin is very collectible, as were many other items, but I never take anything & prefer to leave as found, for other explorers to discover & enjoy. Surprisingly the air was quite fresh & the rooms were dry (roof conditions still good), the ground floor had a couple of small holes in corner areas, where the floorboards had rotted away, but upstairs & elsewhere, they were in a very good condition. I counted four empty wardrobes, but a lack of furniture, in the way of tables, chairs, beds, etc, but there were still plenty of interesting personal items left behind to occupy the mind for a good few hours & long afterwards i might add. Once the house & it's land have been redeveloped, I will update on here any untold back story, as well as any other information that comes to light. I hope you enjoy the full epic explore of Eccentric Tony's Detached House of Untold Secrets. If you read thus far, Thank you! good health & have a great year. p.s. I meant to have a closer look at the old movie projector, but totally forgot, sorry :( Maybe a Vintage Bell & Howell Super Eight Movie Projector, or a Kodak Brownie? (there's one reason for a re-visit;) Music credits: "Dark Walk" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
