Abhimanyu Aneja's video: Filmmaker s Perspective Behind Jodhpur Episode - 1 Musafir Onboard Travel Series

@Filmmaker's Perspective | Behind Jodhpur | Episode - 1 | Musafir Onboard | Travel Series
From paper to screen Musafir Onboard had its own Journey. It started with an Idea while I was shooting a vlog alone in Udaipur Rajasthan. I was travelling a lot and exploring different cities without a plan. Then I made a concept about a filmmaker who travels to different cities with a travel plan and showcases it. However Being that filmmaker wasn't easy as it comes with a certain way I shoot things, therefore I developed this concept commercially and I thought may be I will propose it to Nat Geo Travellers, But my strategy was to make couple of pilot episodes first to have a look and feel of the project. Eventually I started working on Jodhpur city and started developing a travel plan, I knew I wasn't going to do it alone like my other videos so I needed a team, and being in the business I have few friends in my network. I Called up Bhavaan Goswami who is a cinematographer and I told him about the idea. He came in with a lot of passion and energy and creativity. We met a lot of times to polish the concept and once we finalised the creatives, We worked on the technicals and decided to shoot it with a Samsung S7 egde phone, which saved a huge cost, however we strongly felt the need to get the interview bits on a camera so used his Sony PXWX70. After we finished the shoot, It was time to bring it on the edit table then I called my friend Hardik Madaan who is a Video editor, I showed him the footage and he showed me his excitement and energy for the project. He stitched it in a way that I couldn't complain considering the visuals, He stabilized and kept the shots longer which made video very smooth. Eventually when the edit was completed I proposed it to National Geographic Travellers through email however there was no response from them. A video made with so much passion and hard work deserves to be seen one way or another so I uploaded it for the world to see. For the great efforts and admirable work, Cheers to the Team. Watch the Episode - Jodhpur https://youtu.be/4lGeimL_-Fw Musafir Onboard is a series about a filmmaker who takes us on a journey to explore the most beautiful places in India. It showcases an entire city by visiting its famous places and finding things to do. Jodhpur was a choice for being undeniably attractive. The city has Forts and streets which are magnificent to look at. It is artistic in many ways, specially with its eye pleasing royal architecture. Streets were chaotic and buzzing with activity, its narrow lanes seems to take you back in time. Jodhpur is a city in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Jodhpur is the second-largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan and officially the second metropolitan city of the state. It was formerly the seat of a princely state of the same name. Jodhpur was historically the capital of the Kingdom of Marwar, which is now part of Rajasthan. The episode was shot pre-lockdown. Email for Queries aby.aneja@gmail.com
