If you are confused about the duration of your workouts or how long should you be in the gym then this video will answer all your questions. There is no one answer as to how much time should you spend on the gym . It depends on various factors like our training experience, your fatigue levels, your nutrition that day, the muscle group you are working on and what is your goal while you are working out in the gym. For example if you are a beginner then you can workout between 30-45 minutes and you will see good results. Anything more than that might lead you to overtraining mode. Similarly if you are an intermediate or have been lifting for more than 1 year regularly then you can workout for upto 1 hour and if you are advanced meaning if you are training for more than 3 years regularly then you can perform your workouts for more than 1 hour and maybe 90 minutes too. Similarly if you are tired mentally and physically on certain days you can shorten the length of your workouts and limit it to 30-45 minutes for better recovery . Now if you are training smaller muscle groups like arms or calves or abs you don’t need to spend too much time in the gym and you can get good results by working out for 30 minutes. If you are training bigger muscle groups like legs, chest, back or combining 2 or more muscle groups in a single workout then you might have to perform more exercises, take longer rest periods and spend more time on the gym. In this case you might have to do your workouts for 1 hour or even more depending on your workout volume. Also there can be a question as to how long should you workout for muscle building or how long hours you workout for fat loss. The answer is given in the video. So there is no single answer to the question as to how long should your workouts be but you can use all the factors given in the video and decide what’s the best duration for you to be working out I.
