The song was released for the first time on the 4th of July in 2008 on the Sony Music/Tunnel Records compilation "Tunnel goes Ibiza Vol. 7". Even though the demand for vinyls was already very low and Tunnel already stopped producing them Marlon decided to release a record - and convince Tunnel of a collaboration. Marlon directed the whole production while Tunnel did the publishing. In August 2009 "How can I save You" was released on a very special two-tone colored vinyl with two A-sides on Tunnel Records in a quite different and completely re-worked version plus two additional remixes and "See the Light 2009" as a bonus track. Since Marlon was never really satisfied with the sound of the previous Tunnel vinyls he also directed the whole special vinyl-mastering process and was in close contact with the record company while they created the lacquer disc cut. Marlon wanted to be 100% sure that the record sounded as close to his own masters as possible. And it did. It was not only one of the best sounding Tunnel Records vinyls but it also marked a very special moment in Hard Trance history: even though it sold very successfully it became the very last vinyl that Tunnel Records ever made. The general demand for records in times of digital music formats was just too low - and nobody knew at that time that vinyl would have a huge comeback - now, 10 years later. And nobody knew that on the other side music streaming would become as big as it is today. Therefore even more reason for Marlon to finally bring "How Can I Save You" back into the stores - and as always: in best remastered 24 bit HQ quality! The record already sounded great 10 yeras ago - now it even sounds better! So does the DJ Gollum remix. Lars (aka Gollum) and Marlon already know each other since they started in the mid 90s. This remix was part of Gollum's fulfillment of a remix exchange. And hid did - as always - an incredible job! Also the Pete Sheppibone takes the song to a new level: stomping beats, groovy acid lines and a catchy melody - the ingredients for his well-known Hard Trance sound. By the way: if anyone misses "See the Light 2009" (which was part of the former record package as a bonus track back in 2009). This version was already released last years as a phatt remaster and as part of the Accuface's release "See the Light (Remastered)" which includes all versions of the eponymous song and can be also found now in every downloadshop and streaming service. "How Can I Save You (Remastered)" is now available via Accuface's Metrophonic Resistance label and OUT NOW in all downloadshops and streaming services.
