Logan Alexander Paul[1] (born April 1, 1995) is an American actor, director, and internet personality. Paul first gained fame through videos shared on former internet video service Vine.[2][3] Paul's television and film work includes starring as guest appearances on TV series' Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Weird Loners, and films The Thinning and Airplane Mode. Paul attracted controversy in December 2017 when he broadcast video of a deceased man who had committed suicide in Aokigahara, Japan. The broadcast led to backlash and criticism from celebrities, politicians, and other YouTubers. He has posted a public apology and donated $1,000,000 to suicide prevention. [4]
