Acrylic And Aether's video: We Are Sorry Our Charity Event Is NOT A Cover up

I'm sorry I want to say I'm sorry, our post wasn't received the way we thought it would be and now people are calling us pieces of shit, idiots and far worse in DMs. The reason we made our post is because we were scared, we have been sexualized by that community before and our littles taken advantage of irl so to think that those who don't understand the difference between littles in the ddlg community and littles in the DID community scared us. We did get a few comments in the last week on our littles videos that made us cringe and our worries seemed to be coming true. We never meant to invalidate Alternatives trauma, we wanted to make sure others were using caution and we worried for the safety of other systems also showing their littles on youtube being targeted by an audience that doesn't know any better. We personally think sex workers are great, we considered going into it ourselves when our health started to decline so it wasn't meant to be a post saying sex workers are bad, or those that watch them are bad. We were scared, we still are but that doesn't excuse anything, we were trying to protect people including Alternative, because we've seen that reality with our ex not knowing that our littles weren't THAT type of little. So if you decide you would like to leave we understand. We've been listening, we've seen the hatred towards us, we've also seen constructive criticism asking us to change the wording and giving us tips on giving advice for internet safety. We always want to help, we don't want to hurt anyone that includes Alternative. They think we hate them we might not enjoy their content but we don't HATE them. It wasn't out of hate it was out of fear, for us, for them, and for the community. We know THEY don't sexualze their littles, we're scared and concerned that those who don't know any better will. We won't be responding to the berating we've been getting calling us terrible people because ignorance isn't a crime, its lack of knowledge, and in this case it was the lack of knowledge on how to approach the situation in a manner that didn't hurt anyone. Im sorry the post came off as attacking, I'm sorry people were hurt, and I hope in the future or now, we can have discussions about HOW to say "I'm not sure about this situation, it scares me" without bullying intended or not. We're still scared and upset by what's happening because it's effected us in different ways on different levels. We aren't going to delete the post due to those saying we would do it to delete all the hate and hide something, but I hope we can move past everything and return to our regular content of trying to help people by showing they're not alone.
